PAINTING WITH EGG OIL TEMPERA, Welcome to a day of color knowledge mixed with eggs, linseed oil pigments and water. On walls, on ceilings, on indoor furniture and on many different surfaces, egg oil tempera is a wonderfully natural color made from water, linseed oil, eggs and pigments. The color is an emulsion similar to mayonnaise or milk. Egg oil tempera adheres to almost all substrates and, once hardened, is very resistant to wear. It is a beautiful color suitable for painting with glaze effects. In addition to being a fantastically good food in an incredible package, the yolk and white of the egg are good binders in color. Together with linseed oil, pigments and water, egg oil tempera is created, an emulsion paint with properties such as: waterproof, degradable, adheres to many substrates, scrubable, easy to paint, beautiful in glazes and which can be polished to a glossy surface.
