Course description

Level: Beginners Technique: Mixed materials Course leader: Gun-Britt Jansson Course schedule Friday 25 April 2025, 10–17.00 Saturday 26 April, 2025, 10-17.00 This course is for anyone interested in colour and interior design. Throughout the course, we’ll explore how colour and design influence our daily lives from multiple perspectives, such as sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics. We will practise visualising interior design ideas through various sketching techniques and by creating mood boards. We’ll also cover design principles, colour theory, and a bit of design history. For this course, please bring an idea or challenge related to interior design that you’d like to work on. It could be finding the right colour for a specific room or developing ideas to create a more cohesive look in a home. We will work through choices in materials, furniture arrangements, colour schemes, and lighting. By the end of the course, you will have developed and presented your design solution. → The course consists of a total of 12 teaching hours. → Course materials, as well as morning and afternoon coffee and lunch, are included in the price, featuring a vegetarian meal. Please inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements. You will be asked to bring a Moodboard, but you will get an e-mail from us what to do.
